Take the pressure off

How are you?

I hope you're well and I hope you're safe. 
It sure is a strange time right now. A time that is difficult to navigate especially because we've never experienced anything like this in the past. 

I invite you to take the pressure off during quarantine. Even though we are at home and have got more time on our hands, I encourage you to take it easy on yourself.
I say this as I've found myself becoming slightly impatient because I feel like I should be doing more - creating more, exercising more, cooking more, experimenting more, reading more...
In the past few days I've realised how important it is to remember the magnitude of what we have been asked to do. It may not seem it, but we have been asked to make a big shift in our lives which takes up a lot of energy and mental space. So if you like me, are not doing as much as you would like to during this time, be easy with yourself and give yourself patience and understanding.
Rest is super important too. I'm sure most of us were fairly sleep deprived and tired before this, so allow your body and mind to restore and give yourself permission to rejuvenate. After some time you might just slowly end up wanting to do more and you'll be kinder to yourself in the process.
